    Yes, and a few other similar products (the names escape me at the moment) are fine for snakes too.

    But just a little dab, as others mentioned. It's a petroleum-based ointment & can cause scale issues (delamination). Helps fight infection though.
    (and keeping snake on clean paper towels for now is recommended too)

    And to be clear, I would want a herp vet's assurance about using "New Skin" on a snake...I just seem to recall a vet using something along that line before?
    (it may have been something similar but NOT that)
