    He won't as long as the objects aren't sharp. It's not high enough for them to get hurt.

    If he is being constantly active at night though, it generally means he is either hungry and you could be feeding more/larger prey items. Or he is too cold or insecure/the temps or hides are not appropriate. I don't know your husbandry, so I'm just posting info if you wanted to look into it.
