    Totally agree! The tougher netting used in outdoor gardens is known for snakes getting stuck in & dying (they cannot back out because their directional scales catch)
    & while the lighter netting you have around the moss might tear a larger hole for a persistent snake, I wouldn't take a chance, snakes could get stuck or injured.
