For a hognose, you will have to use extremely small hides in the pvc enclosure. Or maybe use a small tub, but keep the tub locked in the pvc cage. The tub could have an opening and be like a “hide” that the hognose couldvretreat to for security.
For my pvc enclosures, I use a combination of UTH on a thermostat for a hotspot, and a night bulb lamp on a dimmer switch For ambient heat.
