    Haha, so true. One of my friendliest snakes ever, one that can chill in my little kids laps, once bit my hand because I reached into the enclosure a bit too far with a heated thawed rat on the tongs! Apparently my thumb was a more attractive heat signature than the thawed rat, as she grabbed my thumb for a split second and instantly realized it was me and let go. She quickly recovered and grabbed the rat, but it made me realize that although she loves me, when there is rodents odor in the air, All bets are off!
