I just thought that Deborah's comment was overly strong as the OP said he has experience in breeding boas. I know they're not BP's but come on, he is way ahead of people that have never bred snakes and I'm pretty sure it will not be that steep of a learning curve for him.

Craig already made the point people have come here to learn, not to be entertained by pointless, and potentially misinterpreted jokes that could reflect poorly on the community. Seriously, you claim to joke about it but it's a legit problem, people HAVE let their snakes loose and it happens more frequently than any of us are comfortable with. Deborah has been breeding ball pythons for many years and knows red flags when she sees them or what information to give to newbies starting out. Maybe it's not as fluffy as others would like it, but she knows her stuff, gives hard truths and facts that need to be said and known first and foremost.

Considering you are inexperienced yourself and admitted to not having a clue about ball pythons, you best keep your comments to yourself and not challenge those who actually know what they're talking about.
