    yes slow metabolism like other boas, they do not grow that large. Long slender snake with a small head, high humidity, slightly on the lower temps. Babies are more susceptible to failing to thrive due to temp/humidity issues.

    Rainbows will soak so give them a big enough water bowl to get into. A humid hide isn't a bad idea! They will use hides and also like to climb. Their sides change color, darker during the day and usually get bright white at night, very pretty snake. Mine was great and never was aggressive. Will usually take f/t without issue.
