I personally would drop that low temp to 76-77... My Caye Caulker boa likes to thermo regulate, my dumerils boa 90% of the time prefers the cool side and he likes it cool. I have a feeling as the other poster said that the sanke is trying to cool itself because it is just too hot. If you have a hot spot leave that in the upper 80's the rest of the tank can be kept cooler, if the snake wants the heat it will find it trust me, but you aren't giving it much of a choice right now. Try to lower it and see what happens.
