    You can't just pull it off ..even gently as there's a good one part will hurt them and provoke a bite ..

    I'd soak a rough textured bath towel and let the snake slither inside it for five minutes whilst you apply very gentle pressure . When it's head pops out simply cover it with the excess towel again and continue
