Smeagol is so silly! I started to put a top layer of spaghnum moss on his substrate. Aside from spot cleaning I replace the entire layer every 2 weeks or so. I like the way it looks. It doesn't mold and it holds humidity wonderfully.
Smeagol decided it makes a great bedHe burrows inside of it and creates a nice little bed. Sometimes his little head peeks out
In the evening he emerges like a dragon from his lair
