    Feeling like a proud mother...

So, it’s silly, but I’m feeling like a proud mother right now.
I offered Imogen a f/t rat. I was worried she wouldn’t take it
since she was eating live before....
BUT she snatched it right up and ate it.
I peeked under her hide and didn’t see it anymore.
I wanted to see her down it, but it’s okay.
I’m just so glad that she ate 😁😁

that's how i got every one of my beeps to switch to f/t: just give it to them lol. i always feel so bad for people with snakes who are too stubborn to make the switch.

    congrats on the milestone!!!

I was not expecting it to go that well, but it was a piece of cake.
I hope yours goes just as smooth. Let me know how it goes.

I wanted to feed her live, but couldn’t find any rat fuzzies anywhere.
So just ordered some frozen rats.

Thank you! I honestly can’t believe how easy that was.

The blow dryer trick works every time! Make sure it is thawed fully and then get it HOT, so they can "see" the heat signature and think it is a live rodent.

Yeah, I took it out last night and stuck it in the fridge so it would thaw.
And I just left it in a cup of hot water for a few mins so it could heat up.
I dangled it with tongs in front of her hide and she got it instantly.
I will try the blow dryer method next time. Thanks.
