And yeah, I had anticipated to put her in her tank right away, but I couldn't help it. Had to snap some pics and hold her for a bit. It is my first ball python so I was amazed by her. I've wanted one for so long and finally have her. I am guilty of pulling her out 2 more times just to hold her, but I promised myself I would leave her alone for the rest of the week.

if there's ever an appropriate time to throw out every rule and piece of advice to just enjoy these lovely animals and hobby, it's for 10 minutes on unboxing day of your first ever snake.
