    Another "possible" reason that snakes act restless &/or get in their water bowl a lot is when they have mites...do check closely on snake & in the water bowl
    for any mites that may have fallen off, to be sure that's not the reason. Mites are a serious health issue that need treated if that's the case...let's hope it's not.
    Using plain white paper towels as substrate will also help you find any stray mites, if that's the issue.
