Not to sound rude. When you own your own place? so how old are you?
If you have only owned a Ball python I would look at getting maybe a carpet python or dumeril boa or Columbian boa first own an work with them a couple years.
I have 15 years experience with snakes an have owned dumeril boa, Columbian boa, Burmese python an several other species of snake. Retics are on a whole new level first of all their feeding response is off the hook and if your not ready for that I could be bad for you.
