BTW, I only swim with fins...you get a much better work-out that way (you're pushing more water). *In later summer we'll get 3 hours adult swim in the morning, &
by then I'll be 'ready' for it.

Our pool is 25 meters (half Olympic size) and a "lap" is across & back (50 meters). Each mile is 32 laps, so keeping track of 64 laps (2 miles) I make use of the "rope"
that divides the lanes; the "rope" is actually a cable strung with plastic disks, so each time I start a new lap, I move one disk over, like a giant abacus... I start
over for each half mile, it works better that way.
Interesting to see what others do for exercise .. I usually go for a 6 mile run ( jog at my age). Which takes anywhere from 52 to 59 minutes ..depending on various factors .. every so often - maybe 3 times a year - when I'm feeling 'real good' and I have time ... I do between 12 and 13 miles and that takes about 2 hours to 2hrs 15 ..

They're not great times but at 60 I'm the oldest jogger around these parts ...

I still record details of the run and time just to compare times as I age .

Oddly enough there's been no decline at all over the last few years .. in fact some improvements... ever since I started 'fasting' 7 days a week ..

I actually feel better than ever .. just wished I'd found out about all the benefits of fasting 40 years ago ..
One rather interesting benefit is dramatically improved health- I've not any kind of illness / infection in the last two years !
