Well Hewitt Reptile is up closer to you. They are in Everett. If the reptile spray is working, great. just be sure to treat for like 3 months to be safe. Even if you dont see mites, eggs can take a month or so to hatch. So a lot of people who say 'i keep getting mites', really arent getting new mites, They just havent broken the cycle of the original mites so while they think they killed them, the eggs hatch and bam, you got mites again lol. And little tiny ones are almost transparent so you really wont notice them until they start to feed and fill with blood. By then you can pretty much figure you got a bunch.
This is correct. A mite egg can take up to 30 days to hatch and a female that has had a blood meal can survive for a long time before starving. So, you really need to continue treating for several weeks after you stop seeing mites.
