No permethrin, my local vets won't give any to me without a visit, so I ordered it online, but the reptile spray did a good job and so did the dawn bath.

Only a couple drops of dawn and warm water do a good job. Wipe down with wet paper towel, then after the bath wipe down with the reptile spray before putting back into a clean treated tub.

Uhh you live kind of by me...well up north of me. You dont need a vet to get Permethrin. Hewitt Reptile stocks Provent A Mite. Can also order it from Bean Farm or pretty much any reptile supply place. Even Nix for lice will work as it has permethrin in it. Just not sure how long the residual effects last. PAM is good on a surface for 1-2 months or so Bob told me at Pro Products.

Not sure if you are confusing Permethrin with Ivermectin. Vets can give Ivermectin shots to reptiles which will kill mites that try and feed on them thus breaking the cycle but I have read about some smaller reptiles having adverse effects to it. My vet said she could give Luna shots when Luna got mites. I skipped it and just did PAM for 3 months and it was gone.
