    Gloves!!?? Gloves!!?? Only time you need gloves is when handling Gilas or Beadeds.

    I personally wouldnt wear gloves as human reaction is to jerk away when bit and if a baby snake has a tooth or two stuck in the glove and you yank, you could either do spinal damage or rip out the teeth, both not good for a baby snake. I never used gloves on Pat or any of my snakes. i just took the bite and tried not to jerk away. Luckily...or unluckily, I have only been bit by my 2 big girls and Dottie but it was all from me being stupid with handling food and forgetting to wash my hands lol.
