I wouldve taken it myself if i wasnt already sinking far too much money into a new enclosure for Paarthurnax. I love albinos!

The reason the market value has tanked is one, there are a LOT of BP breeders and two, albinos are a commonly bred morph. It boils down to do breeders want to sit on stock which costs money every day it isnt selling as well as shrinking any kind of profit or do they just want to sell them for a reduced price. Look at pied BPs. They used to be $10000. Now they are around $1500 or so for breeder size females. It's just the way business is. More of a product, the cheaper they become as it becomes a buyers market and they more or less set the prices.

I'd guess $200 is fairly reasonable for the snake alone as it sounds like a single gene albino. Not sure how much other stuff you have. Heck i picked up Dottie my female pied for $200 as a baby.

Heck i just looked on Garrick DeMeyers site and he is selling some 2 gene albinos for just over $200.......so $200 for a single gene albino might even be a bit high lol. I'f probably take the $300 the guy is offering lol.

Yeah, but the ones garrick is selling aren't breeding size yet...am I incorrect in assuming that a breeding size female would be worth more than a baby?

True. Breeder size are more but at 2 years old, i wouldnt consider the OPs female breeder size. I personally wouldnt want to breed a female until she was at least 4 years old. Want to give her plenty of time to let her lady parts mature and fully develop but maybe thats just me.

For example, Garrick is selling a 285g female albino spider for $250 and a 370g female albino bumblebee for $200. They arent breeder size but still pretty cheap. The OP can hold out, nothing wrong with it. Not sure why he even is selling it. If it is because he needs to rehome it, then i say go with the best offer. If it is to make cash, i wouldnt hold my breath. Regardless though, it is still a single gene albino which like i said, is fairly common and probably isnt going to command some crazy price.

I see plenty of breeders selling Albino babies at $200-250, not including shipping (usually an extra $50-$70). $300 for a sub-adult sounds perfectly reasonable. As with selling anything, if you are trying to sell it quickly, you probably won't get what it's worth. If you are willing to wait, someone will probably come along and buy it for what you are asking.
