I assume that all the snakes in this thread were found in Georgia, USA. If not, please correct.
Pictures in post #1 in this thread: Looks like a northern water snake to me, too. Not venomous. A cottonmouth's head would be an equilateral triangle.
Post 5: A young corn snake (Pantherophis guttatus). Not venomous. Mouse eater so to good to have around. Often kept as a pet. Too bad he was dead.
