    Turtle Race: Boys vs. Girls

    There is a strange Herpes virus causing tumor growths in sea turtles along the Texas coast.

    I never even knew that we had sea turtles. Due to the water being so filthy like lake water, Galveston area that is. You can only see your hand a few inches beneath the water. Maybe it’s cleaner at Padre Island, IDK.

    The Wildlife people catch the infected Sea Turtles and Veterinarians surgically remove the tumors.



    The turtles lay clutches of eggs counting from 80-120. They are removed from the beaches for safety and incubated and then released.
