    Iridescent spots forming growing...

So my dark ghi cinny... Leslie Snipes just had her first shed with me and it was great and she’s looking lovely.

She’s always had this iridescence to her as I know many folks have in darker snakes or certain types. Some attribute it to the type, scales, I’ve heard oils?

Either way I noticed on Leslie after this last shed that she has these iridescent spots on her neck and head almost blue in certain light.

I wonder if this will keep coming in stronger with each shed. I was wondering if any of you guys have noticed or experienced this ?

I know one thing, it’s a definite good thing when they have iridescence. It shows good husbandry, health. All my snakes have some, and yes some seem to shine a bit more then others. Hope that helped.

I am curious myself, I was captivated when I noticed on Lucy. At some angles her whole head turns blue!
