The only thing I can add is that these snakes are a 20-30 year commitment.
You want to make sure that college, military and lengthy travel plans are completed or not in the picture. College dorms and many apartments do not allow snakes. If traveling somewhere abroad, it’s a lot to ask friends or family to care for a snake for a month or three; that is if you can find someone not afraid to do so.
