I tried to see Janes again in 2011 in Oakland, "Not So Silent Night" but drummer Stephen had a family emergency and they cancelled last minute. Rolled up to the parking lot to signs saying Green Day was the replacement band. Already seen them 3 times over the years and not liking their overly pop punk newer stuff so that was a huge bummer. *sigh* After 2 times of trying to see JA and it not happening, I figure either 3rd times the charm (if they ever tour again) or I'm SOL.Originally Posted by craigafrechette
Another great band IMO, although again, not quite 'grunge' was Primus, also puts on a fun show!
