Like Taylor said they get stressed easily, especially when their eyes are clouded. They are uncomfortable and feel vulnerable during shed, so it’s best to not add to it and just leave them be.

Chiquita is a bit jumpy to begin with, as I don’t think she was used to being handled very much at all.

She he is in shed now, noticed pink belly yesterday, eyes starting to cloud today. When I opened her tub last night to mist it and bump the humidity a little bit she was in her hide and I couldn’t see her.

As soon as I began spraying the substrate (outside her hide, not even in it), she pulled a Jackie Chan, ninja move and struck twice from inside her hide.

She didn’t connect with her little display, but startled me, as I wasn’t expecting it.
