    A couple of Laotian ladies (refugees from political persecution) cooked up a reticulated python in traditional Laotian dishes once for the local herp club. We all found it quite tasty.

    By the way, chickens and ducks are quite happy to eat meat such as insects and earthworms. I've seen chickens go after live mice, and once I rescued a smooth green snake that was being pecked by chickens. A buddy's duck killed and swallowed a sparrow, and one of my father's muscovy ducks routinely chased the cat away from its mouse meal and ate it. Strict vegetarians they are not.
