    They won't flick their tongue when they're nervous usually, which is perfectly normal for a young, new snake. If she's eating and not showing any signs of any illness, there's not much reason to worry about it. You'll probably start seeing her tongue eventually as she gets used to things. Just have patience - snake adjustment time is slow.
