I was thinking maybe something in elvish, but he's such a dork, and so shy-yet-not-shy that I maaaay end up calling him Horatio (as in Horatio Hornblower). But there's still much name research to be done.

Edit: i also like Hornblower, as in Nathanial Hörnblowér, who looked kinda elfish.
