Ball Pythons head resting upwards
So for the past day I have noticed he has had his head resting like this. Temps are 91 hot side 80 cool side 80 ambient. 2 hides 2 water bowls 60 percent humidity. Had him a month still haven’t got him to eat. Moving him to a tub setup next week. But for now I’m worried about why he has his head up like this. No mucus coming out of nose or in mouth. No weird breathing. Maybe he just is comfortable??

Lucy does this too and it makes me wonder. No concerning behavior, she just likes to prop her chin up on stuff.

Yes it is haha. His hide I ordered off Amazon was too small so had to improvise until new one comes. He seems to like it a lot more then the other $20 wood log hide though ha

My boas will sometimes sit with their heads completely vertical. Kind of creepy but they seem to like it lol.

Pylox has a long piece of wood in front of her hide and whenever she gets curious, she would prop her head up on the wood, kinda like what your BP is doing! I'm sure it's nothing, I'm guessing our BPs are just curious but lazy

This is Lucy's favorite pose. She sleeps like this or with her head propped against a hide.
