Re: Are these hides too big for an adult male ball python?

I'm doing a lot of custom stuff so I'm trying to figure out what dimensions I need to factor in for my designs.

How snug does your male fit in the medium? If he gained a few grams would he pop out or he still has a little wiggle room? I'm going to take a wild guess and assume it's good ol Yellow you're talking about How old was he again?
yes, Yellow. Yellow has plenty of room to grow in mediums; at least 300g before i'd think he's too big. a large adult male could maybe fill the large at 1500+ grams. these animals fit into surprisingly small spaces.

i have 3 large RBI hides i'd gladly send you if you think a medium is too big.
