    If you do go with wood, use ¾" oak plywood, it is smooth and very, very strong. It is easy to seal with primer and deck paint. Boom, done.
    Animal Plastics was my first choice but for a 6ft by 2ft cage to California it's going to cost me over $620. Shipped.. I can get 2 cages built for the price of one
