Dirt in mouth during shed?

Update: I gave her a bath and a bunch of the dirt came off; here's a picture. Note the weird thing on the left side of her mouth, since she doesn't have that on her right??

is it possible that she ripped a scale off, and that's a scab? i had a similar issue when my first beep was a baby.



that poor thing looks incredibly dehydrated and uncomfortable.
