If you keep the room 80F, i would say just use the flexwatt and you will be fine. And actually, the flexwatt would probably use less heat as 2 feet would be 40 watts if you are using the 11 inch stuff...i think. The RHP would be like 60 or 80 watt. But its kind of wash, both would be very low on power.
And snakes dont 'need' belly heat. I prefer to give it to them though and it's arguable as some believe they should have it and some believe they dont need it. In the wild, i would imagine they kind of bask in tree branches and also on warm objects like rocks and stuff at sunset.Thanks brother.
