    Re: I need help removing a clip secured to the inside of my python's enclosure

    If the clip is held in place with adhesive you could possibly heat it with a hair drier (or your light) and use dental floss as a cutting tool. Then work the adhesive off with your finger?

    Suggestions for husbandry;

    - a hide on both sides as you've mentioned (I would go ahead and get it in ASAP so the snake has the opportunity to acclimate with both hides in place and not be stressed with only the one, but that's just my opinion
    - the water dish is fine, I use tupperware too LOL
    - not sure if you're using anything for belly heat (or just the overhead light) and what your humidity levels are, but once you get those dialed in and the hides in place - you're pretty much in cruise control
    - be CERTAIN your heating devices are controlled by a thermostat so they do not harm your snake
    - MAYBE cover the back and sides of the enclosure to give a more secure feeling - before I switched to AP enclosures I used aquarium backgrounds or plain unprinted paper

    I'm sure I'm missing something but that's a start anyway.

    There's a wealth of knowledge to be found in this forum and LOTS of experienced keepers to learn from. Good luck!!!
