So yes, you need another hide on the other side identical. I would not use aspen bedding. I would use Eco earth or reptile prime. More plants for hide spots too. Cover the back and sides with black paper. Cover the screen top to hold in humidity.
Whatnare your temps on hot side, cool side and ambient. How are your lamps and uth regulated?
