What kind of Boa Constrictor do I have?

I'm confused, I just got a RTB that looks just like that. It was labeled as a "red tail boa" . Why do you hate that term?

Its not the scientific name of the snake. The snakes name is either boa constrictor constrictor or boa constrictor imperator. Red tail boa is a bull:cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: term created by the pet trade. And then they added the term „true red tail“ for boa constrictor constrictor because their tails have darker red color than boa constrictor imperator. Both have red tails, it’s just that one is darker than the other.. lol
