humidity issue

i have a bowl of moss and a water dish on the hot side, 75% of the screen top is taped, i usually have to dampen the open area of the reptichip a little to bump it up, a group im in will burn you at the stake for misting, but is it not as bad as they make it seem?

it is not. how are you measuring humidity, btw? could your measurement be off?
