Well regardless of the reason I am still concerned for the welfare of his animals. Especially knowing he now has a green tree python that looks seriously overfed as well as a bci that has been proven to be overfed time and again. Large stress inducing enclosures with poor heating conditions, insistence on live prey, and power feeding animals is something I get concerned about and no amount of combative behavior is going to make me not concerned.

I understand your viewpoint. Being concerned makes sense. no amount of concern or education seems to have any effect in this case.

And like the Grinch stole Christmas, I am gonna steal this thread by closing it momentarily so everyone can enjoy their Christmas eve and Christmas day.
This Thread will re-open on the 26th, so go hug a snake & spend time with family and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and while I had previously mentioned that this thread would re-open today, I am afraid that it will not be the case, I believe the bickering has gone on for long enough and nothing positive will come out of this at this point.
Now food for the thoughts since I am gonna have the last word here.
There seems to be an history (that’s right by reporting this thread not only have I look at this one but others involving what appeared to be the same individuals)
From time to time we will see new members with VERY limited experience that will either start providing erroneous and sometimes dangerous advice to other or sometime will see new members with limited experience seeking advice but only want to listen to what they want to hear dismissing anything based on experience. When it comes to the later there is only so much we can do, as they say you can lead a horse to the water but you cannot make it drink, so while you can post once or twice to try to get your point across there is NO NEED to turn a thread into a bickering contest, learn to move on, because sometimes it’s just not worth it and you will not win and if the person is really someone you cannot bare simply put them on ignore.
Now for those who come here seeking advice but yet do not want to listen you may want to step back and think, many keepers here have decades and take time out of their day to try to help others become successful keepers, they do not benefit from this, there is nothing for them to gain they just care about the welfare of your animal and want YOU to succeed, so ask yourself if you are not willing to listen to them and want to fight them all the time, “why are you here?”. Of course like for anyone else you may place people on ignore but remember if you place people on ignore and keep going around with the same mindset you will soon find out that no one will answer your threads anymore.
Anyway hopefully this will sink in this time (for ALL of you) and if not I can guarantee future threads being locked as well as infractions being handed as this is not the first time people were ask to let go https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...=1#post2578710.
