    Pacing?

    Hey everyone!
So regarding my new snake Lily Dragon(I seem to ask a lot about her) she’s seems to pave her tub quite often. Usually around 6 o’clock pm, she starts to pace around, going around her tub, seemingly trying to come out. She’s always in her hide during the day, but I’ve noticed she only does this at night or in the mornings before and on feed day. Her hotspot is 90 and her ambients are around 70-75. Humidity about 60-65 percent and She eats well.

Those ambients are a tad low, you might want to bring them up to around 79-85.

Since it's happening right before feeding day, she might be trying to 'hunt' for food.

If it was doing it because of the ambient temp wouldn't it just go to the hot spot?

While I agree with the assessment that the ambient temps are a bit low it's not crazy low and I don't think it's the contributing factor.

6pm is the start of evening, that's when a ball python would be in hunting mode. What's your feeding schedule like? What size food are you using?

I also agree with you, hence why I mentioned hunting mode directly after that. Mine wanders around the cage pretty actively the night before feeding and the night of.

I feed my snakes on Tuesdays at 10. I’m feeding her fuzzies and she’s about 3 months old. I tried to feed her two fuzzies the last feed but she rejected the second one(she took the second mouse and coiled it, but I guess she decided she wasn’t hungry because it was in her hide the day after.)
