First time feeding my BP a rat!

What I mean by "addictive" is I've heard some people say after feeding their snakes rats, they rarely want mice after that, only rats. Is this true? (don't mean to challenge your knowledge, just want to get the most facts for future reference.)

Actually it is the opposite, most people find some BP's like to eat mice more, which is why people often post about having a hard time switching to rats.

African Soft Fur Rats (ASF's) are the ones that are said to be addictive.
