Trigger pulled - New Rosy Boa on the way

So I was thinking I would just wait until spring but honestly that was never going to happen lol. I tried so hard to stay with only one animal but why must this being just like lays potato chips?

Anyway I just got pictures of my new baby who will ship on the 20th. Meet Quetzalcoatl my Bay of LA or (Bahía de los Ángeles) 2017 male rosy boa from Baja Rosy Boas aka Ryan Shatto

    So cute!

It was either that or a monitor lizard but I was hilariously overruled. I mentioned an anaconda but I was told certain words that are not appropriate for well anyone to hear.

Nice snake. I too don't know too much about Rosy Boas. I had a Nile Monitor and Savannah Monitors and they all require HUGE cages with lots of dirt to dig in. Should have tried to convince the misses to let you get a SD retic or SD retic morph. I love my boas but Caesar is by far the most interactive snake I got. Only thing more interactive is my Bearded dragon who is just my little sweetie girl but whoever tells you bearded dragons are a beginner pet are LYING to you. They require so much stuff and so much work for their diet. Here is a pic of Harley though doing what she does best lol.

How did you know I called my husband "the misses?"

I had 2 savannahs for years so in reality I have outgrown my lizard phase.

I thought SDA was a male at first too! She has a very masculine personality, but I figured it out somehow, at some point.

Congratulations, he's gorgeous! I've been looking at Ryan Shatto's Bay of LA's myself, you have great taste.
