Transport?

So I may be moving soon and I was wondering what is the best way to transport my BP.

I have snake bags but would those stress him?

Pillow case or snake bag, insulated box or Styrofoam cooler and Shipping heat pack if you like to keep you car cool.

Basically you pack your snake like if you were shipping him.

I use pillow cases that I tie at the end and then ziptie underneath the Knott for extra security, and place them in a box. Don't want a loose snake. I travel with them in the front seat of my car and regulate the temp accordingly.

When I'm transporting animals (whether new pickups from a show, or whatever) I use an inverter to power a thermostat and heat tape so they stay nice and toasty, plus if I stay at a hotel I have heat for them over night.

Bag + Secure Tub. I cringe when I see pictures of people driving with their snakes loose in the car. The snake can get up under the dash or under a seat and disappear all too quickly. At best you're looking at an expensive bill at the mechanic to tear the car apart and then put it back together, at worst you end up with a dead critter.
