Every one of her clutches is 4 or fewer eggs with slugs. Another girl is 10 years old is only 1400 grams and always lays 5 eggs and no slugs. They have always hatched. Each snake in my collection is a little different. Most of them follow the rules to some degree but still not 1+ 1 = 2. Perhaps the op is just saying “don’t always expect the norm with these guys”.
