Haha wow this brings me back. Granted I haven't been around nearly as long as everyone here but it still feels like it's been a while :p

Hello everyone! New to the forum and the world of snakes!

I'm planning on getting a male ball python and was wondering what a good permanent tank size would be for him when he's an adult/fully grown? I'm looking into getting a pvc cage from Animal Plastics and deciding between their T10 (48x24x15) or their specialty Carpet Cage (36x24 x15).

Would 36 in length be large enough for a male or too cramped? Or should I get the 48 to be safe? I heard some males can grow as big as females.

    Thanks in advance!
