    Hm, weird. I wonder if there is something to that? Like when you're a kid you don't eat them so you don't like them but as you get older your body just grows super used to what you normally eat so it's not as satisfying so now you like them cuz they're different (In using you as a general term, not targeting you specifically lol)

    I think that has some to do with it but I also think tastebuds change in someway too because I find the things I like now that I hated as a kid taste completely different as an adult and things I loved as a kid taste different now than they did when I was kid!

    All licorice is gross. I'm simple though and picky about what candy I do eat.

    As for the changing taste buds from when we were kids thing, there is an actual explanation for that. Children's taste buds are a lot more sensitive to bitterness in general, because of poison-related issues. Y'know, that thing where kids see something cool and then want to stick it in their mouths, and it turns out it's something crazy toxic? As adults we can usually recognize when something is Not Good For Sticking In The Mouth, while children are still trying to figure the world out.
