    Sorry I have to disagree. It doesn't matter if it's part of the box, an insistent enough bp can and will find a way to get it peeled off or on them. It doesn't stop the bp from crawling over the box or rubbing against it and that's enough to eventually loosen a tape edge. It's just too risky in general. Bad things have happened in this forum with duct tape.

    in the end op your choice, but why take the chance?
