Thanks, I'll definitely do that, I'm on it right now lol.

Well, I just went to check her humidity, and look at her, and her eye has already.... popped back out? Is that the right way to say it? I'm still gonna work on her humidity of course but is that a good sign?

    i don't see a pic /:
but of course that's a good sign if the eye looks normal! i can almost guarantee with the humidity % you posted you're definitely dealing with a dehydration issue.

Yes, I trust that that's probably what it is, I had always been told/heard that the humidity had to be 40%-60% but I will keep it at/above sixty from now on, thank you. Also, this lighting isn't the best, but that's the same eye and it looks like it's back to normal for now.

Humidity's doing well so far. I have a heat lamp on the hot side though so I have a hard time keeping it up on that side. Im planning on getting that moss though. I have the wet rags already in there. (I put one on each hide to be safe)

keep monitoring the humidity and your bb will be alright. i have a CHE with my glass enclosure so i know humidity can be tricky, but the towel trick is my go-to.

My first royal had dented eyes and was shedding in dry pieces...horrible. It turned out the guy I bought it from had no idea what he was doing awn was keeping the hatchling in dry, not even warm enough conditions. I finally customized his enclosure to trap humidity and got heating pads and infrared UTH, and now he is thriving. The guy gave me a bottle of "shed helper" or some crap. Since I keep the humidity around 60, he sheds n one big piece and his eyes are always normal now. I threw out the "shed helper" as he now sheds perfectly in proper humid environment.

Thanks. At least it was something I was able to fix quickly. Scale rot, mouth rot, RIs, slip skin, and mites are like my worst nightmares. I have a reptile vet in my town but its expensive and sadly they're the type of vet that you have to pay all at once up front, they won't do pay plans. Of corse I'd take her if anything serious like that happened but it would put a good dent in my savings. She's like my child.

I haven't taken her out of my "collection" on this site yet but my female cat, Nallah that had kittens back in April (I posted about it in the thread talking about how my snake escaped, and talked about how my cat gave birth at the same time that we were getting Calliope out from between my AC unit and my wall) anyways, yeah my cat Nallah ended up being poisoned (after the kittens were fully grown and weaned luckily, two of the four live with me as my pets now) and we had to put her down because it was causing a lot of organ failure and she was dying. She was one of my first pets. She was a cat though, so I wasn't the only one that took care of her, my mom fed her mostly and I was just responsible to the litter box. Calliope solely relies on me though (feeding, cleaning, monitoring husbandry, everything) because no one else knows how to take care of her, so losing her would probably hurt a lot more since she really is completely dependent on me. I couldn't get out of bed for three days when my cat died. I couldn't imagine what it would be like if Calliope got sick and I couldn't take care of her.

Anyways, sorry for going on that long spiel. I got caught up in the moment. I'm gonna hit the hay. I've got school in the morning.
