Red or blue light at night?

would the normal temp drops at night still be considered a stable temp room, I have my dimmer plugged into a timer right now
so it is only on at night time anyway.

how much drop are we talking? my room fluctuates by ~5-7° over a 24hr period and the CHE + rheostat works very well for me, but i took the time "to get to know" the dial before i started relying on it and i have to adjust it in the morning and evening.
