Question Where to get my first Ball Python from?

So, I was wondering where I should get my first bp from.

I DO NOT HAVE ALL THE STUFF YET, WORKING ON IT!

I WILL NOT BE GETTING THE BP NOW, I WILL GET IT WHEN I SET UP THE TANK AND MAKE SURE IT IS SET UP PROPERLY!

Sorry, to put that in capital, I just wanted to let you all know that, i'm working on it.
But anyways, I wanted to let y'all know what is going on and ask where to get my ball python.

Now, I have no room to judge but i've heard some bad things about Underground Reptiles and that is where i wanted to buy my Ball Python from, even some members on here said don't buy from Underground Reptiles....

But all I REALLY wanna know is where to buy my first bp.

Anyways thank you for replying and advice.

There are a ton of valid answers to this question and many reputable breeders throughout the US. In general, you can start by doing the following:

    (1) Decide what kind of snake you want (i.e. male vs female, morph, non-morph) and then look around for breeders that might have what you want.

    (2) When you find someone who has what you want, look around the internet for feedback on that breeder. The Fauna BOI is designed explicitly for this purpose, but often a simple google search will do for many breeders, especially larger ones.

If you need help locating who breeds what morph, morphmarket and kingsnake.com are both places you can check.

As far as underground reptiles goes, they are a large seller and have a ton of feedback. Generally speaking I would say their feedback is not encouraging, but there are a fair number of positive reviews.

i'd check out MorphMarket.com and use their MorphMap to see if there's any breeders near you. no matter where you want to get your noodle from, just do plenty of research on the person/place you'll be buying from. if something doesn't feel right, go with your gut.

I second what tttaylorrr said, and will add this: If you don't find a breeder local to you, start searching morphs you like on morphmarket. Find a handful you like and research the breeders that are selling the ones you like. Some research on the breeder may help you narrow it down.

The benefit of finding a breeder near you is that you will probably be able to drive to pick the animal up, saving on shipping. You can also meet and handle the snakes before buying.

Another great option is a reptile show/expo near you. They often list the breeders on the website so you can research prior to getting there and have a few breeder's tables you want to visit. This also gives you the chance to handle a few snakes and choose one you like.

You live five hours from Justin Koyblka. Drive down and pick up a snake from him. It's a no brainer. :-)
