Next week, as I said , in the evening , I'd try dangling it in front of the hide entrance when he's inside the hide ..
Offer immediately whilst it's still warm from the hairdryer ..

I'll never get this. I've tried many times just leaving the prey. Basically if there's no movement none of my snakes will touch it it will just sit there till the morning. Would love to be able to just drop a warm rat in and walk away. As it is though I have to make them do a little dance lol

I'm glad he ate for you Kuhn. It's always a great feeling when they eat right away. Some snakes will take food from tongs, others have to be drop fed and left alone, and some snakes you just have to throw the food in quickly before they see it and come flying at you.
